B.Y. comes through!

One more quick note from today.

I got a call from BY this morning asking me to call today about news on the job front. Once I got a hold of him he told me about a job with a sport licensing company out of Indiana that works on college stuff. After the conversation, I was really excited to have a change to speak to a decision maker about a REAL job! If this works out, I could be back in New England with great opportunities for the future growth of Global Sports Advantage (GSA).

I'll keep you posted!

BY, GOOD WORK!

Koda's new friends

Today I did not have to go to school, but I had a bunch of plans that all went to hell when I decided to sleep an extra hour or so! Anyway, at about 9:30 I got a call from Jez, a classmate and co-lead on my Coke project, and she asked if she could drop off some tables from our events and pick up some surveys to enter into our database for the project. That's when the fun started!

As Jez and I were unloading the tables I looked up and say a medium sized reddish brown dog and a small black and white lap dog. With my prior experience in Orlando and loose dogs I got nervous and told Jez to watch out! The warning was unneeded as the dogs came to us and were very friendly!

After Jez left I introduced the new friends to Koda, but it didn't seem that the medium dog was going to get along with Koda so I put Koda in the bedroom and took inventory on the situation. Luckily the dogs had tags that had a phone and an address. After an answerless call I decided to walk them home.

Of course no one was home when I got there, so I returned home with the new dogs whose names I found out were Lionel and Nala. When I got back I figured I would make these guys get along with Koda and it worked! I played Caesar Milan as best I could and after a while the dogs knew who the Pack Leader was.

Koda went nuts to have these guys in his house! He Litterally bounced around the house for about 3 hours before he got tired. After about hours I had all three dogs sleeping on me while I performed a fruitless job search.

Then the phone rang. The owners were home, so I walked them home and the time with our new friends was over. What a weird day!

Welcome to the Team!

Welcome to the team!

Well, everyone else is doing it and right now I have a few minutes so I here is the beginnings of my blog. Life has been interesting for the past couples years since I have done some kid things, then some adult things, then more kid things, and now I'm gonna start doing mostly adult things. I got married to Kelly about 2 years ago in Disney World! Then I got into Grad school and the University of Central Florida in Orlando, so we moved from our condo (which we bought, and had lived in for only about 1 year), to Orlando. By the way at this point "WE" includes Koda our 95 lb yellow lab. Sorry, I had to mention him because I am sure he'll come up again.

After nearly 2 years in Orlando, its time to get ready to get back to real life! And boy am I ready for that! We also have some big news because we (Kelly and I) found out that we will be parents in about 8.5 months! That would be an adult thing and not a kid thing! So with that in mind I have upped the job search and decided that the future is now, and the future looks great!

So, I don't know what else to say right now but I am sure I will come up with more...when i can.
